Chapter 2: Athelyna Part 3

"Alethyna was a princess that was held captive by the king's Civil Council. There was only five members in the Civil Council. Two of them were important men who were in charge of all the trades. The other two were in charge of the combat troops. The leader of the council was in charge of everything that happened in the land of the king. His name was Molonos Towersight. He was a big guy, according to scriptures and the journal of the Light Knight. His name was Krade Silum. That is all the information I have on this epic story." said Mr. Reliam.

There were a lot of students that wanted to know more. Many students raised their hands to ask a question. Mr. Reliam pick only 4 students.

The first asked, "Why was the princess held captive?"

"Well the Civil Council wanted all the power that the king had. They took the princess to a high tower where she stayed for a very long time and she was never heard from again." answered Mr. Reliam.

The second asked, "Why was Krade the Light Knight?"

"Krade defeated the Civil Council, but in turn he lost his life. During the final struggle with Molonos, he was forced to take his own life in order to save the kingdom and the princess. Now I did say the princess was never heard found, but only because legend has it that she teleported to another place and time."

The third student asked a ridiculous question, "How is all of this a myth and a legend?"

"The myth is that this story can only be found in the lost pages of Krade's journal and some scriptures that belong to a very wealthy man. The legend is both Krade and Alethyna. The fact that Krade took his life in order to save the kingdom and possibly the world, and Alethyna is a legend because she was never found. The whole town searched for her and never found her. The only thing they did find in the tower was a small shard that glowed a very unusual blue aura."

The fourth and final question was asked by Drake, "Do you have any proof that the journal really exists?"

Mr. Reliam answered Drake's Question while holding a rugged looking book made of leather above his head.

"Mr. Milus, I am the sole owner of the journal. Unfortunately, almost all of the pages have been ripped out and lost somewhere on this earth. I have been searching a very long time for the pages, but I am slowly giving up on the search."

Drake was very intrigued with this myth. Mainly due to the fact that most of the story that was told today was similar to the dreams he's been having lately. Drake stayed after class to find out more about the myth and the legend.

Chapter 2: Athelyna Part 2

Drake took a shower to feel refreshed and to take his mind off the bizarre dream that he just had. After that he went downstairs to eat some breakfast. While eating his cereal he heard the voice of Athelyna calling out his name as if she were in danger. He looked at his little brother Tommy.

"Did you hear that?" Drake asked Tommy.

"Hear what?" Tommy asked in confusion.

"It was like a girl's voice. You didn't hear her?" Drake asked again.

"No, maybe it's your imaginary girlfriend" said Tommy as he chuckled.

Drake left for school hoping he could just focus on school and not on Athelyna. On the way to school he saw a crow that was eating a dead rat on the sidewalk. As Drake passed by the crow it jumped at him and scared Drake. He almost fell to the floor but he managed to keep his balance. He kept walking and as he bent down to tie his shoelaces he heard someone whispering behind him. He looked over his shoulder and did not see anyone there. He finished tying his shoelaces and he heard the same voice again. He turned around quickly and again saw nobody. Only this time he heard the whisper more distinctly.

"I will not tell you who he is" whispered a feint voice.

'That sounds like Athelyna's voice, she sounds like she's in trouble.' Drake thought to himself.

'How am I supposed to help her? Do I have to be asleep in order to reach her? I'm so confused.' He thought as he walked into his first class.

"Mr. Milus, did you eat breakfast today?" asked Mr. Reliam.

"Yes, I am ready to learn more about the Egyptians today." replied Drake.

"Well, actually today we are going to learn about a myth and a legend" said Mr. Reliam. "The legend is a young girl named Alethyna and the myth revolves around this blue orb that can make dreams come to life." said Mr. Reliam with enthusiasm.
